2023 Honda Breeze

2023 Honda Breeze Preview, Specs, Features, Release Date, Price

Not so long ago, Honda introduced a brand-new model, designed for the Chinese market only. That SUV arrived in 2019 and it shared a lot of parts with the current-generation CR-V. The main difference is in the front and rear-end designs, while the rest of the parts are pretty identical. As the CR-V is about to get a full redesign in the near future, many wonder what will happen with the 2023 Honda Breeze. Will it also come completely redesigned, or the current model is about to remain in production for some more time.

From what we know so far, the next year won’t bring a full redesign to the Breeze. Instead, we will see a familiar layout, which still has a lot of great things to offer, starting from excellent overall build quality, efficient and capable powertrain, premium interior and a long list of standard equipment.

As there are no significant changes to come, we presume that the 2023 Honda Breeze will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Honda Breeze Design

As there are no bigger changes to come, we know what to expect from the 2023 Honda Breeze. The next year’s model will continue with the same design, heavily based on the CR-V. The main difference is in the front and rear-end designs, which are notably different and looks a little bit sleeker and more modern. The Breeze is also slightly bigger than the CR-V, but that difference is barely noticeable in terms of the interior space.

On the other hand, the mechanics are largely the same. The Breeze features the same suspension, with the same multi-link rear suspension. As a result, the ride quality is also pretty similar, which is definitely a good thing. This SUV offers composed handling, with a great balance between comfort and athleticism.

Interior

The same thing is with the interior design. The cabin looks largely the same as in the CR-V, which means great overall quality. The materials are really fine, while the build quality is pretty impressive. Furthermore, we really like the driving position, which is excellent in terms of ergonomics, as well as in terms of outward visibility.

One of the best things about the CR-V is the amount of passenger space. The front seats are massive and supportive, with lots of adjustability options. Even though we are talking about the compact crossover, the CR-V is very generous with rear-seat leg- and headroom, and accommodates taller passengers with ease.

The cargo area offers around 930 liters behind the second row, while the overall cargo volume goes all-away up t 1945 cubic feet.

Features

The 2023 Breeze will also continue with a similar list of standard equipment. So, all models should come standard with goodies like an 8-inch infotainment screen, smartphone integration, wireless charging, LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels etc. Also, you may count on a generous list of standard safety features, which includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert.

2023 Honda Breeze Engine

The 2023 Honda Breeze will continue with a single powertrain option, which features a hybrid setup. The system combines a 2.0-liter inline-four engine and a couple of electric motors, with a combined output of 215 horsepower and 315Nm of torque. The engine comes in pair with a CVT gearbox and offers quite good driving dynamics.

When it comes to fuel economy, the company claims around 5.8 L/100km in the city and 6.7 L/100km on the highway.

2023 Honda Breeze Release Date and Price

We expect that the 2023 Honda Breeze will hit the market in the last quarter of the year, with a starting price of around ¥180.000, which roughly equals 26.600 dollars.
