There aren’t many motorcycles that are as legendary as Honda Goldwing. The iconic touring bike has been around since 1975 and it has always been the gold standard in the industry. Famous for its combination of comfort, performance and overall quality, this nameplate still has a cult status among motorcycle lovers. The current, sixth-generation has been around since 2018 and if we consider that all Goldwing generations have been characterized by very long production cycles, we are pretty sure that the 2023 Honda Goldwing will come without more important changes.

So, we may see some smaller-scale updates, like we saw in the past few years, but the overall layout will certainly remain the same. To remind you, the 2020 model receive Android Auto, while the 2021 model year came with increased cargo capacity. In any case, we expect that the 2023 Honda Goldwing will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Honda Goldwing Engine and Performance

The 2023 Goldwing will continue with the legendary six-cylinder engine, which measures 1833 cc in displacement, and which is notably lighter than the engine that powered the previous generation. One of the reasons for such quality is the latest generation of an aluminum frame, which is light but also very rigid. It also features a pretty low center of gravity, which makes this bike highly maneuverable and easy to drive.

When it comes to brakes, you may count on dual hydraulic 320 mm discs at the front and a single hydraulic 316 mm disc at the rear end.

Turn signals are integrated into rearview mirrors at the front and taillight at the rear end, and they also feature LED technology. Finally, there is a whole bunch of lighting upgrades, which includes fog lamps, additional brake lights, trunk lights etc.

Last but not least, you can get an Airbag to maximize safety. Honda pioneered motorcycle airbags, so nothing less is expected from the 2023 Goldwing.

Comfort and Tech Features

This aspect shouldn’t bring surprises either. So, you may count on features like heated seats, an electronically adjustable windscreen and a new, larger 61-liter trunk. Tire pressure monitoring is also standard in all models, as well as a pretty advanced instrument cluster that shows plenty of information. All this shows on a 7-inch screen, which also includes navigation with 10 years of free map updates.

The Goldwing has always been famous for its audio system and the 2023 model year will continue in the same way, with 55-watt speakers and a system that includes all kinds of connectivity features, such as USB ports, Bluetooth, Sirius XM satellite radio etc.

2023 Honda Goldwing Release Date and Price

We expect that the 2023 Honda Goldwing will come by the end of the year. The current model starts at around 24.000 dollars and we don’t believe that a bigger increase could come in the near future.
