These days are quite turbulent when it comes to one of the best-selling compact cars of all time. The Civic has just been redesigned and the new model has brought a lot of novelties and improvements. Considering all these novelties in the first two years of production, we are pretty sure that the 2024 Honda Civic, which will represent the third production year of the generation, will come without more important updates.

As we’ve just mentioned, no bigger changes are expected for the 2024 Honda Civic. The overall layout will remain the same, which means that you may count on the same design that was introduced last year. The biggest change compared to the previous generation is actually the new styling, which looks more elegant and more mature than before. Furthermore, the chassis has brought further improvements, so the ride quality is even more impressive than impress.
The 2023 model will bring the new Type R model to the table. That version will once again represent Honda’s most capable version of Civic, which comes with various mechanical upgrades, as well as all kinds of visual enhancements.
Interior
The same thing is with interior design. We expect to see the same design, which has so many great things to offer. First of all, the overall build quality is pretty impressive, just like the selection of materials. The combination of classic and retro styling elements with a lot of tech features make the cabin look very appealing but more importantly, the amount of passenger space is great.
As we are talking about one of the biggest models in the class, it’s no wonder that both rows of seats accommodate adults with ease. The front seats are massive and supportive, while the driving position is excellent.
When it comes to the cargo area, the sedan version offers around 15 cubic feet behind the second row, which is typical for the class. On the other hand, the hatchback is good for a pretty spectacular 24.5 cubic feet behind the second row, which also folds down and can provide additional cargo space.

Of course, there is always a chance to see more standard equipment with yearly updates, so the 2024 Honda Civic may bring some of them as well. Still, we are pretty sure that most things will remain the same. So, base models should come standard with goodies like a 7-inch touch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, a USB port, a four-speaker stereo, automatic climate control and a 7-inch driver information display.

2024 Honda Civic Engines
When it comes to the powertrain offer, the 2024 Honda Civic will come in four variants. The base model will continue with a good-old 2.0-liter K20 engine, which puts out around 158 horsepower. If you’re up for something pepper, there is a 1.5-liter turbo-four, which comes in two output variants. The first one is good for about 180, while the other one is reserved for the Si model and puts out over 200 horses.
Also, count on the two upcoming powertrain options. The first one will be a hybrid version, equipped with a system that combines an inline-four with two electric motors, for a total output of 181 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there is the upcoming Type model, which will come with a 2.0-liter turbo-four and a max output of 320-330 horsepower.
